I dont know how to import bookmarks into IE. But I know how to export bookmarks from Firefox. Follow this order to do so:

    fire up firefox
goto Tool then select Bookmark Manager
highlight whatever you want to export
    Goto file then select Export

    Done.

Let me know how to import it to IE.
