hehehehe....now we're gettin evil.... Me, I use Nvidia. However, it really is personal choice, preference. Some games back in the old days, were either built to run better with either Direct3D, or OpenGL...which would make one card run a given game better then the other. Nowadays, it's pretty much equal. For the 754 AGP version, go for the 6800GS..it's affordable. 7800GS if ya feelin frisky. PCI-E version, well, there's lots more options open, and you can still get the 6800GS, GT, as well as other versions of the 7000 series cards. There's still life in the 6600GT series cards, people like those as well. Your options depend on the motherboard. You might even find some bargins (AGP verions only) with the 5900/5950 series cards.
here is a good deal at tiger direct.Free mobo with a geforce 7800. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...asp?EdpNo=1644233&sku=e145-7810&CMP=ILC-FPM17
yeah if i had over $350 i would have that motherboard and video card in a second but maybe you can find something that has a socket 939 SLI motherboard an AMD Athlon 3000+ or more with a video card for under $300 U.S.
well i guess you don't have to find a video card but do any SLI motherboards have onboard video on it
