Glitch in video?

    I try to encode a video into dvd format but it will freeze while this happens or if it finishes the video will freeze while playing and the sound is screwed up then. How can i fix this??

    Most common reasons for these problems are:

    The use of poor quality media (Verbatim, Ritek TY's recommended)
    Burning too fast (4x recommended)
    Use of paper labels on burnt DVD's.

    Need a bit more information - what program are you using to encode and what is the format of the source files.

    using nero to encode and its a divx avi i think
