burning a .iso with nero 7

I tried to burn a .iso file with nero burning rom but when i clicked it it was still in its .iso format shouldnt it of changed to the actuall files that were in it??

I dont think Nero supports *.img files was the *.img file with a *.cue file or *.ccd

You can try to rename the IMG to ISO, that might work.Or download isobuster and open the file.
Or, did you try "Open Disc Image" with Shrink?

my mistake its a .iso file, and i wanna burn it for a friend, does Nero 7 supprot iso???

Yes, Nero supports ISO. Open Nero Burning Rom. or follow this link.
