will extra Ram help Nero transcode movies faster ?

    Hello just bought to 512 MB Sticks and was wondering if this would help transcode the movies faster when I use Nero ? or does the processor have eveyrthing to do with that ? I have 256 MB on a new PC and it takes me about 2 and a half hours to do a movie that is about 2 hours long.Thanks in advance for any advice.

    More memory will help a bit but not as much faster as you might think.
