I had a speech that I successfullyt downloaded and used Nero to make a cd. The 29 minute track did not appear however when loading the disk. Is this because the final format is WMV or whatever the standard cd player format is and not the original mp3y? Actually I had never thought of this before until someone mentioned it to me. Also is there a menu selection to leave the disk open for a second burn session? This last has always baffled me and I normally would select Disk at once on my previous program.
A disc can be left un-finalized for more burning if you have more files you want to add later. Some people just like leaving a disc opened if it's only half full (thinking they want to get their money out of it). In my early days, I was the same way, but experience has taught me that leaving the disc opened and burning more after the initial burn can cause errors that are irreversable. The best course of action is to put what ever you want onto the disc and finalize it. Some cd/dvd players won't see all of the files if you burn in 2 or more sessions. The RW media is less likely to have issues with this, since it is basically treated like a larger floppy disc. Hope this helped to explain it for you. As for why your Speech didn't show up, maybe it was a multi-session and the previous burn was dominant.
