Nero Vision 4 question

I have recently downloaded the newest version of nero ultra trial edition, and I looked at one of the guides, but for some reason, I only have a make cd option and no make dvd option. Could this be a cd key thing or is it something I just don't see?

Here you find your answer. The latest version is problematic. I would go bak to 7.0.1.4.

Well, I did have the old version when I posted this...Oddly enough, by the time you posted this I thought it was a version error so I updated, but nothing happened. Although maybe it was the new version and I didn't know. how do I go back to the old version?

 

If you have the old 7.1.0.14.exe. run Nero Clean Tool from nero wbsite. I would also go in the registry and delete any entries from/Nero/Ahead.After all the cleaning, run the exe and install fresh

I finally got it to work, although It took a whle, I can finally say this question has been solved . Now, just an off topic question, I can use nero vision to make a vcd for an avi file on a cd right?

 

In Nero StartSmart, just select the make vcd option and it will open the appropriate program (double checked, yes it opens nero vision).
