I've been fooling around with downloading movie trailers in order to burn them to DVD-R with NeroVision and play on standalone DVD player. I successfully downloaded and burned several and they actually look pretty good. Unfortunately most of them seem to be a format that Nero doesn't support. The ones formatted for Windows Media Player aren't found when I browse for supported files with Nero. Most of the QuickTime Player ones are some kind of html file that Nero finds but will not import. Other QuickTime ones work fine. Can I convert the non-supported ones to a format that will work with NeroVision after I dsownload them? What do I need to do it? And what format do I convert them too?

If Nero doesn't support them, you can try Winavi Video Converter.

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/WinAVI_Video_Converter.htm

it has support for many file formats.(There are also other software, but i am not familiar with them). You can convert all your files to DVD format and then open them with Nero Recode and burn on a DVD
