can someone help me i ly deleted my dashboard while softmodding my box. i also unlocked it .can someone send me the slayers auto installer to misterti201@yahoo.com or/and Delmars3@interlinc.net i dont know which one will work so please try both. i was trying to download the linux save on 007 that i copied to my harddrive and i deleted that from my harddrive ly and it is only on my action replay memory card i try to load the linux from the game and it goes to error 21 i guess because its not on hard drive the linux save is not saved to my drive because i cant get to my dashboard the only thing that happens when i take the games out is the logo "xbox" comes up like the screen right b4 u go to the game. i can put a game in but it doesnt go to live or anything i cant get to my dashboard does neone have any solutions please post them i think imm screwed
yes, an auto installer like slayer 2.6 would be your best bet, they have all the dashboards on them. But you will need to be able to at least load the disc or FTP the files for it to work. "21 - anywhere - This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag This occurs frequently when the xbox is unable to boot due to dashboard changes being made (ie Gcue true blue hasnt been resigned, parts of the stock dash are missing - incomplete FTP backups copied to a new HDD for example). ya my dash is gone and i wanna get another one but how do i get it to my xbox i cant put it on by memory card and i dont know my ip address. please help me out and figure this out
ok i am downloading the auto installer it has taken like 2 days to download its finally going to get done tonite it is on 90% so i copy that to a dvd-r and put it in the xbox are you sure it will read. and does it normally take that long. idk much about modchips but will fix the xbox like maybe w/ xenium gold or somithing. i am dl the auto installer from bearshare is that why it is taking so long idk as long as it fixes my xbox. im just worried that when i put it in it wont do anything and it will go to the error but ill try in about 15 min when its done then tell you if it worked if it does thanks for the help
i downloaded the auto installer but i cant drag it to my dvd burning software it wont let me at all. it is an iso or rar something like that but iv got one in rar. and one iso. "thats the file type" so how do i burn it to a dvd if it wont let me get it to itunes and burn
wow that is a lot of questions. If your drive reads discs, and you Xbox is either modded with a softmod or modchip then it will read the auto installer disc. The speed you get downloading it can have many factors, like the server it is on, your connection, the program you use and how it is set up, how many seeds/leaches there aee and so on. if you can post a picture of the files you have. You should just be able to burn the ISO with any burning program like Nero, Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter or other. Not sure how Itunes works or if it will even burn an ISO. Yes, copy it to a good quality DVD-R If you do not have a lot of game saves you are worried about or games on the HDD then i say just reformat the drive and start over with the auto installer. It will usually have all the programs you need or want on it and all the dashboards, roms, emulators and such. I have even seen some that will back up the game saves before they reformat so you don't lose those.
thank you dude iv finally got it on my xbox but what do i do? reboot, full rebuild, i dont know what to do when it comes on the screen
all right i got my dashboard back ummmm....but what do i do w/ flash i try quick connect and putin the info and it says it failed it has to be timed out how do i connect
all right so i figured it out and i finally softmodded my box so when im in flash fxp their is an error 10107 i connect but then it goes to the error and i fail to connect what can i do to fix the error 10107
