I was able to back this movie up successfully by copying and compressing it to my HD with DVDXCopy and then burning it with DVDFAB Platinum (Gold Mode) I know this sounds like a weird way to do it and the reason is that the computer I copied it with suddenly quit burning successfully no matter what I used or did. So, I put DVDFAB on another computer, transferred the copy folder to the 2nd computer and burned successfully with it.

As you can see, I am a newbie so I can't really give you any technical help, but I was able to successfully do what you want to do using this method. I hope this helps!

    iamhead82,

Are you using the latest version of ANYDVD, which 5.8.4.1? Because that error sounds like an encryption issue.

Just hover you mouse over the ANYDVD icon in the naviagation part of the taskbar, and it will show the version. Or double click the icon and select ABOUT, and it will show the version.

The only thing that I can think of is, what media are you using. There are alot of CMC media that just is not right.

It might be a good idea to download "Idenifier" at some point to check out media that you purchase, and it is at http://DVD.Identifier.CDfreaks.com

It will give you/us the media codes to find out exactly what media you are using, whether bad or good, and you can just cut n past here.

Use Quality Media; avoid Memorex-CMC, get the good "stuff": Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Verbatim, Ricoh or other top name products.

    HTH,

    Rich
