Hi All OK. If I back up my movies to .avi or .mpeg files, then convert to DVD files using Nero (ready to burn to disk afterwards, following alkohol's guide) then most of the time they're fine, even if Nero has had to resize them to get them on the disk. However, I sometimes have back ups of tv programmes which I get from the net (e.g. Twenty four, Lost etc...), saved as .avi or mpeg's and when I convert these they often lost audio sync with the picture. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better programme to convert these files to .vob for burning etc?
mine does that to fine with everything else just lost out of sync, ive tryed lots still no answer lol just keep trying. p.s lost, cool or what?
You could try other conversion programs. All things considered, VSO DivxToDVD (free version) would make a good alternative: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm Good luck!
