i need help with xboxhdm its confusing and i dont know what the eeprom.bin file is. if its a downloaded file can someone give me the website to download it. because i need it to run the make-iso-win file. also if anyone knows any good websites to explain it tell me
eeprom is like a serial number for your xbox bios. every xbox is different. It reside in part of the hardware on the motherboard. There are programs to extract is from the motherboard so you can upgrade your hd. I would suggest going to xbox-scene.com and reading up on stuff there. Also I would suggest you stop doing what you are doing with xboxhdm and read alot of documentation on what you are actually going do with upgrading the hd. This is because is seems you have no information on eeproms and hd locking and unlocking. It's no walk in the park and you could end up ruining your hd.
so do i have to extract it from my computer or xbox, if its my xbox im screwed because i cant get to my dashboard anymore
i found a website called http://xguides.xbox-scene.com-XGuides Wiki: XBOXHDM for dummies it shows step by step how to do it and i already downloaded the xboxhdm, but dont know anything about extracting eeprom. sorry i am really new at this
can you even boot a game? you can purchase an eeprom from people over the internet. check the xbox scene forums
alright well if you used a softmod exploit you can boot the game expoit and ftp in at the exploit screen and change the .xbe file to something more appropriate to get into your dash... i don't know if there is a way you can get your eeprom by ftping, you should check that out at forums.xbox-scene.com
i cant ftp because for some reason flash fxp doesn't work anymore(i have direct connection from xbox to internet)it always say "connection faile (timed out) is there other programs that would be better to ftp files with
