    Please help.

My CD/DVD drives are acting up lately. I've never experienced this problem before. Every time I try to load a CD/DVD, my drive has an extremly difficult time refreshing. I notice these things: After inserting a cd into the drive there are no changes to the drive icon. Selecting the drive to display info on the content of the disc shows nothing, as if there is no disc. The CD/DVD is not recognized, When I do get a CD/DVD loaded and use it, I then eject the cd. The drive displays as if the cd where still in the drive. When i even explore on the differant folders inside the CD/DVD that is no longer in the drive. ager is incapable of end tasking the folder after that.

I have to restart over and over to be able to read the CD/DVD contents. I need to fix this quick. Please help somebody. Could it be a virus, could it be a bad driver or firmware? I check on the later two and could find no updates for either.
I have been told that Nero 7 may be causing this problem.
Must i uninstall Nero 7 and next reinstalled it.
    Again, please reply ASAP

I also have 2 DVD Drives, but i cannot use send to to copy one DVD to the other DVD. I does give me a message that the drive which i want to send to does not appear in the drive list.

Please show me how to include the DVD drives in the send to copy list.

    Thanks

I heave heard of a similar problem due to having 'IN-CD' installed.

If you have installed this with the nero suite,
You should goto Nero's website asnd get there clean tool,
And remove any traces of IN-CD on your computer.

For firmware updates if you have dvd decryopter you can use its
    built in firmware search tool.
Updated firmware is important but I dont believe it is the problem.
