I dont realy understand you, your programs dont minimize corectly??

well first of all send in a HijackThis log to be safe, i dont fully understand whats going on..

Instructions on how to do it and where to get it are im my sig, click "how to keep you secure online" and go down, you'll see HijackThis, also running a trend micro or panda online scan while your at it could be of some good..

Whenever i click minimize on an open window it minimizes but it doesnt show up on the taskbar on the bottom of the screen i checked out about 4 or 5 antispywares and antiviruses but my computer is clean.

Any other ideas because it sucks having to alt tab between everything

Scan with trend micro and Download install and update Ewido, scan with that too and get back to me, if still nothins found then you post a HJT log, im stil now sure what it could be, sounds like maybe a crappy virus , thats a geuss becasue i havent seen this before, but dont worry whatever it is we'll get it out ;)

There is a fix for that problem, its a .vbs file that fixes the corrupt registry entries. Normally I wouldn't advocate running a .vbs file since they can contain viruses, but kellys-korner is a reputable site.

    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Go to line 240 on the left hand side, download that and run it.

I tried the fix for computer the .vbs file but the computer said that there was some error..so i tried the same site and downloaded a thing called Taskbar Repair Tool just googled it and i found it.

Just for anyone who might need that same info-it only happened to me because i really tweak my laptop to do wierd things AND to learn from my mistakes. It can sometimes be fun but anyway

    Later
