OK, I Just recently downloaded a 4 part series of MPEGs and burned parts 1,3, and 4 on to VCD, no prob.

Part 2, my favorite is MPEG-4. Problem.

Being compliant with the terms and conditions of this message board I found someone else had posted a question along the same lines ...

"i downloaded a movie to find find out that it is in mpeg4 v2. i tried to convert it using TMPGEnc but it didnt work. i tried FlaskMpeg and that didnt work either.i was wondering if it is even possible to convert mpeg4 to mpeg1 or another format so i can make a vcd? thanks in advance"

    The reply was...
"You need to get Microsoft's latest WMV (Windows Media Video) codec in order to read MS MPEG-4 files."

Forget reading the file. The file reads. My question is are MPEG-4 files VCD compliant. That is, can they be burned into VCDs? If so how? Domo arigato.
