This movie can be backed up using NeroRecode with AnyDVD running in background.

If you dont have AnyDVD its available for a 21 day free trial at slysoft site.

Try it again, this time do NOT have DVDFab running along with AnyDVD, they have a conflict.

so where did i mess up......i always use dvd fab with anydvd in the background....once the files are on my computer i close dvdfab and open up nero recode. Recode analyzes, encodes, and burns for me....where am i going wrong to get the error on the encoding part on nero recode. What are you suggesting i re-do

DVD Fabis a decrypter, AnyDVD does the same thing, it removes any encryptions from the original files so why would you want 2 prog operating at the same time that does the same job.
Example: you dont drive 2 cars at once.

DVDFab and AnyDVD hate each other, they're BOTH trying to do the SAME task.

What I am suggesting is to use only 1....you choose!

If you are backing up a DVD all you do is open AnyDVD, insert disc, open NeroRecode and away you go. AnyDVD will remove any encryptions for you.
Recode will send files to temp folder, insert blank disc and then burn.

DVDDecrypter will do the same job on older encryptions, just insert original, open DVDDecrypter and let it do its thing and then it should auto burn with Nero.(Not Recode)
