SAame goddamn problem different machine. This is why I said in amd versus intel that ati sucks. Well sophocles said it was the computer configuration. Well bullshit. Im getting the errors with a different machine. The machine is a msi k8n neo platinum board and a winchester 3000+ 64 athlon and a radeon 9600xt agp card. Against all gut instincts I went and bought a new radeon.And Im having the same problem as before with the epox board and pci x800 Im getting this message any ideas Any ideas? On top of it Im getting blue blocks rounds trees and shit in the game driver. So I go back to my original statement ati sucks. BUT any ideas how to fix this message at least? Im giving this comp as a b-day present to my mom on the weekend. HELP!.. I also tried setting permissions through net frame work configuration and no go. ATI dont know either.
What driver version are you using? 6.2? Now, I am not promoting another site in these threads, so PM me, and I'll set ya up with another site where ATI fanatics can be found!
Someone had the same problem on another board: http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33822741 This problem can be worked around by uninstalling all of the ATI software and reinstall with Catalyst 5.7 with Control Panels instead of the CCC. That was from a couple years ago, so driver version would probably be later now. On Usenet, someone had the same problem and a reinstall of Serivce Pack 2 fixed it.
I solved the problem. Even know ati says to install net framework...I had to install net 1 and 2 service packs. Now I can acess the catalyst center. The only thign is I still get blue blocks round tires and trees and that shit in Driver. Anybody tell me how to grab a screen shot of the game and I will post it. Cause the game only runs in full not windowed mode.
Check the game's options, or manual. It could be an F key, or in some cases, the good ole PRTSCN button will work.
