Hi! i made a restore file in nero backItUp 1 and it was a super program, i formated my comp so many times and i used Nero BackItUp 1 and i got everythin.... Now i have installed Nero 7 with Nero BackItUp 2. And now i cant restore anything. I have done everything i could do, and i just havent restored any thing I cant even see what is inside. I think the problem is because of the version. Does anybody know what to do? if not i will uninstal this version and install Nero 6 again. Thanks
You may be right. You may need version 1 on the computer to restore from version 1 backups. I have not used version 2 but understand it makes a bootable disk to restore from. So with the new version (if it works right) that should no longer be a problem. I have used drive image for many years for all my backup needs. Even though they have been swallowed up by norton I still do.
