Suppose I was drunk and dropped my Zen off the boat and into the lake. It was Off at the time and I let it dry for a week before turning it on. What do you suppose could have gone wrong. I used to be able to power it up then lost the usb cord and power cord that came with it so I now have no way to charge it (i'd given up on it for months and now i'm playing with it again). I've been toying with different usb cables and non will charge it. What damage would have been caused by the water? I know its an obvious question I'm just looking for different points of view.
Water completly ruins anything electrical unless it's waterproof but even waterproof products only can block a certain amount of water out before the product gets damaged. If it's still under any warranty or insurance then contact Creative and make up some story and ask for a replacement. If you don't have either then i'm afraid you will have to buy a new one. p.s. don't take anything electrical with you on a boat again. lol

Archos's are very nice but the price is steep. Better than iPods I reckon. Reviews say they have better video playback.
Yeah, the archos beats the iPod for video playback, but I prefer the video iPod because, apart from the gmini, all the other Archos's take aren't really portable...they are too big..
I have heard that bestbuy in canada is reselling all of the ipods back from generation one, to me a 4G would be great.
creative zens are the biggest piece of pure shit i've aver had to endure owning. i bought it because i was to cheap to buy an ipod. oh how wrong i was. i am currenly in the prosess of returning my 4th faulty zen. one lasted mr 9 months. one lasted 2 months. one was broken when i got it and my most recent one iv had for a day and now it wont turn its fusking self on. i am discuted with how shit quality the creative zen truly is. if you want hassel and to wiast your money i suggest you but one other wise shell out the extra £40 on an ipod that will last.
