MMORE used to be selling CMC Magnetics (low quality) but nowadays seems only to deliver Moser Baer India (ok). Sold by at least the Finnish PC SuperStore and often with very attractive price tags.

    MMORE CD-RW 80/700mb 1-4x "Bayer / Made of Makrolon"

    ATIP: 97m 17s 00f
Disc Manufacturer: Moser Baer India Ltd.
    Reflective layer: Phase change
    Media type: CD-ReWritable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)

The M.B.I. RW disc seems very good indeed, at least in terms of compatibility. My DVD player tends to occasionally skip slightly with CD-RWs or lower quality CD-Rs, but with these the performance is just perfect. I've enjoyed many movies without a glicht.

The Bayer / Makrolon logo should guarantee that you get MBI quality.

At the moment available at PC SuperStore for 12.90€ / 10pcs box, which makes them a very attractive offer for temporary storaging.

Quite the opposite here - dealers tend to recommend these. But unfortunately dealers and retailers usually don't know s*it about these issues.

I actually educated one local ship to ATIP & CD-R Identifier :)

I managed to get a handful of MMORE CD-Rs, reporting later when I have something to burn.

MMORE 1-48x 80min/700mb "Bayer / Made of Makrolon"

    ATIP: 97m 17s 06f
Disc Manufacturer: Moser Baer India Ltd.
Reflective layer: Dye (Short strategy; e.g. Phthalocyanine)
    Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)

My trust for the MMORE/Bayer is increasing daily. I burned some VideoCDs with the maximum speed(44x) and the playback was perfect with the Philips DVD player. This is a good sign, even though Philips is very media tolerant, since some cheapo discs need to be burned slowly for the Philips._X_X_X_X_X_[small]http://CD-RW.ORG - Online since 1996

Dang, your right...I juss purchased a few Mmore cd-r from the market here (I am from India)...and they are made by Moser Baer India Ltd !!..However these were last few Mmore cdr available in the market....as Moser Baer India Ltd has stopped the production and have started making cdr with their own brand name. So basically earlier they were just using the brand name Mmore in the market, but from now on the production will be stopped ...and one will only see cdr with their own brand name.
No wonder you found them of good quaity !! :)

    Darshan,

Can you give us some more information about M.B.I - some web URL perhaps?

Pricey EmTec discs from office world have given same error rates and results as <20p bulk unbranded stuff from a dodgy corner shop... Not too bad ;)
