No DVD burning after reinstalling

    Hi..

    I had to reinstall Nero 7 after installing a new hard drive. Everything worked perfectly before. Now, when I try to create a DVD using Nero Vision buring to DVD is not an option. It will only allow VCD burning and says I need a plug-in for DVD burning. I don't remember ever installing a plug-in.

    Any suggestions?

    You didnt say what OS you installed on the new hdd. And if updated it. Mainly directx. Directx 9.0b or the newer 9.0c is required for vision and recode to run right.

    Others seem to be having the same type problems with 7.0.5.4 of nero. If you are runing directx 9.0b or c and purchased nero you might want to contact them about the problem.

    Hi..

    Sorry... it's Windows XP SP2. I don't know what version of Directx it is. But it sure is frustrating!!! I'll check tonight.
