just stops within 20 mins til the end

    ok, this is my first ever download and convert and burn. the movie is 1hr and 35 mins long, but my dvd-r is a Sony, only 120 mins (2hrs) long, with 4.7GB.

    Suddenly at about 1hr 18mins into the film, the movie just stops...what could be the reason for this?

    Any advice is appreciated. I used dvdSanta for this.

    You should not burn very close to the edge.I am not familiar with DVD santa.Can you save the files to HDD first?You can use Shrink to make the file not more than 4300Mb. Also when you convert, you should fit the target size 4300 if possible with Santa. It doesn't matter, what it says on the disc, how many minutes. You can fit a 140min movie on a 4.7Gb DVD with no problem.
