hi - i just installed the latest anydvd 5.9.1.1 and everything seems to work fine but every couple of hours or so - it closes and give me a error - says - file coruption - please run virus scan and reinstall the program ? i never seen that before - i ran a scan and comes up clean i unstalled it and rebooted and reinstalled it - and its the same so there may be a bug with this new release - not sure - is anyone else having this issue and if so -how can i fix it - the last one before this version worked fine - and this seems to work fine too except for this issue -- any suggestions ? thanks
i am having the same problem, word for word of your problem is mine. does anybody have a solution ? can some get in contact with slysoft and let them know this is going on? for me, when backing up a movie, its fine, corrupted file comes up when the movie is burning. thanks in advance for the people that will help take care of this problem.
Go back to the previous version, if you have it. I always wait several days before installing a new version, of any software, just waiting to hear complaints like these, lucky me. Best regards, Rich
go here to report ye problem to the slysoft team http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?s=1ef0373769ed06e2a8003a7480cd418f&f=88
I was having problems too but did not get any virus messages but Norton Internet Security was acting strange. I restored back to before the last anyDVD upgrade 5.9.1.1 Everything back to normal. The new upgrade worked fine because I backed up 3 just out movies, before the conflicts.
ireland, I guess you are from Ireland, and I also guess you write the way you speak, strickly curious, no offense intended, I love the Irish dialogue? Many best regards to ye, Rich
> it closes and give me a error - says - file coruption - please run virus scan and reinstall the program < Are you using a patch or crack? If yes, this is the problem.
elby, Take ireland's advice, and post a complaint at the website he mentioned, or go back to the previous version. No sense in complaining about it when you know what to do about it, unless you did not read the entire thread, and if that is the case, shame on you. Good luck. Rich
it only happens after some time when its running so i figure i wont start it till i need it and when i am done i can close it and leave a shortcut on my desktop - i used it and the dvds come out fine - its not causing a problem with the results - so i am sure its a minor fix will will be addressed soon from slysoft with a nother update - i still have the older version if i need it - i wasnt sure if it was the program or only my system - since its not only me - i am not to worried about it now - i also keep a drive image i can always restore to which i keep updated with new images all the time - thanks for the input - and if anyone figures how to fix it - let me know - i think it may have something to do with the new ripper they installed with it - its the first i seen from them with anydvd together -- thanks -
No problems with my anydvd. I think it's pretty lame to accuse people of using patches or cracks. "http://www.torrentreactor.net/
JOHNSTARR, And you point us to a cracker site, I don't get it? @gwendolin Are you saying cougar_ii's office had a patched ANYDVD? Best regards, Rich
