Wondering if this has happened to anybody, I was backing up "the gospel", your average recent DVD with special features and menus... Ripped fine in both DVDdycrypter and DVDfab but when I loaded it into recode 2, it said the main movie was "uncompressable"...wouldn't go below 5,500 GB or whatever and so it says will not fit on DVD5, etc, etc, must use DVD9 FWIW the same thing happened when loaded into DVDshrink... Is there something I don't know about? I've never seen this before and I've backed up tons of stuff with recode and shrink any info greatly appreciated! AM
Run the ripped files through VobBlanker. That should take care of the junk that gives the "uncompressable" error.
Thanks for the tip! It didn't work though...I tried running both the ripped files from dvddycrypter and dvdfab respectively through the lastest version of vobblanker with the default settings, and the same error happened... Any other suggestions? Thanks again AM
