Yes, here is a post a while back by the author of CloneDVD2. "despite common believe you can combine AnyDVD with DVDDecrypter as well. Just do the following: 1.) Use ElbyCDIO as the I/O model. 2.) Disable the structural protection removal in DVDDecrypter. DVDDecrypter will see the disc as unprotected and will continue to work... forever" And also per the release notes by Slysoft on AnyDVD 5.9.1.1. "- Note: To use DVDDecrypter with AnyDVD set I/O Model to SPTI or ElbyCDIO. Set CSS Cracking method to none. Disable checking for structure protection" I use this method and have been sucessful so far, don't think that setting CSS cracking to none is really needed. regards
if i do that i may as well use dvdshrink. only thought it may help with the harder dvd's like madigascar
Sometimes using DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD to HD in file mode first will allow DVD Shrink to work when it can't do the job by itself. I use DVDD with AnyDVD to do this first and then run DVD Shrink to shrink if necessary, encode in ISO and burn with DVDD.
ok i will explan i use shrink to rip and burn with nero. as it can be linked to do this. i always try just shrink first as it is quicker and leaves a copy on the comp. if it fails i will decode with decriptor to hd then burn with (shrink/nero 6) but tryed to do madigascar and it failed dismaly. so now i am looking for the next code remover for those harder movies like madigascar.... shrink dvd decriptor ??????? (needed)
I used AnyDVD and DVD Shrink. I started AnyDVD (5.9.1.1) first, and then used DVD Shrink normally as before without any problem at all. I backed up both Stealth and Madagascar. Other wise you will have you use vobblanker to rip to harddrive, to bypass the bad sector protections. Good luck
