hi, I made a data disk of a few files from my computer a while back by using Nero onto a DVD disc. Recently something went from with my computer, I wasn't able to back anything up and lost everything but thankfully I still have that data disk which has the most important things I wanted on it anyway. But, How do I get the data (files) from the dvd disk and back onto my computer? I put it in the harddrive but nothing happens. thanks
you cant put a disc in your hdd so I assume you mean your dvd rom put it in go to my computer double click on your dvd drive the files should appear you can then copy them to your hdd
Hi, thanks yeah thats what I meant but when I do that, I double click on DVD drive, and it says "please insert a disk into drive E:" when the disk is already in there. Any ideas why its doing that? thanks
can you try your disk in another system to see if it can be read ? try cleaning the disk can your dvd rom read other discs
