I have two short movies on DVD 5 discs and I would like to put them both on a single DVD 5...there is lots of room.

DVD Shrink always deletes the video files it backsup so I can't put them together that way so I copied them to separate folders.

Only problem is, when I try to burn...there are common file names...DUH!

Is there any way around this little glitch so I can put them both on one DVD or is that asking too much?

It can be done with DVD Shrink, but it takes work and you need to know how. The guides usually go over that. Just check the links for guides in Help on the toolbar. The links are still good.

DVD2one is a program with the function to combine files from separate DVDs; DVDRemake Pro is another.

I suspect Doom9, Digital Digest, Mr Bass, and DVD Shrink.info are still there. I couple of those go into depth on how the app works.

You're welcome, with the exception of "bear" puns. ;) I said nothing about citizens banding together for a caper.

I was just using one of my apps and noticed it had a merge function. So DVDCopy 4 from InterVideo does the merge task as well. Some of these apps have full function trials, so you can give them a try and get a few jobs done in the process.
