Nevermind

I'm trying to play a burned DVD+R in my slim PS2 and all that comes up is a black screen with the message "TV system doesn't match" on it. I converted the DVD from and AVI using Nero Vision then burned the DVD using Nero Burning Rom. Had anyone had this problem before and if so is there a way to burn the disc again and have it work properly.

 

It could be a media problem, the format you are using is +R and if I am correct I think it has to be -R or DVD-ROM to play. If this is the case you will have to BOOKTYPE the +R disc to DVD-ROM, this can be done in Nero and heres a guide

Thanks for replying so quickly, but I've played the same type of DVD+R in my PS2 already but I'm going to try to change the booktype and see if that helps. Thanks again

 

Nevermind I believe now I'm officially an idiot my TV system is NTSC not PAL

 

You obviously know how to convertPAL to NTSC , if not then re post

 

No I don't, I thought I could just use NSO ConvertXtoDVD but that leaves a watermark so I don't know of any other way to do it.

 

It can also be done using Nero6 or Nero7.
