The GCOS, GCOM and the Cobra BIOS come bootable .iso file. After burning them to disc, what are they used for? You can't boot these disc on an un-modified GC. They only work if you have a mod chip. If I have a mod chip I can play all my backups so I see no need for this bootable .iso disc.

Well, I could see it helping anyone with a XenoGC since booting GCoS would give them access to features that aren't native to XenoGC. Could also remove the need to memorize the list of button commands for XenoGC used during booting.
