DVD-ROM Problem

    My DVD-ROM works fine but for some reason now it just changed to being called CD Drive,it was called DVD-ROM before but now it's changed to CD Drive.I used to have a drive D,it was the DVD-RW but now I don't have drive D.My DVD-RW has changed to drive G and there's no drive D.How can I put the things to how they were before?Thanks in advance :D

    I would recommend you do the following steps:

    1.)Navigate to the start button, press it and right-click My Computer.
    2.)Click properties. In the new tab, press hardware. Click "Device Manager".
    3.)Navigate to the IDE area. Uninstall one and two. Restart your computer, and it may be fixed.

    Thank you for that little piece of advise you provided. I was having a similar problem after disabeling my DVD-ROM Drive to flash Firmware on my DVD/RW Drive where after a restarted my Computer it had the Alphebetical order of my drives eranged wrong and by doing what you said to do I was able to fix my problem Thank You very much for that info.
