Some of you probably read my previous posts, and I'm a bit of a noob now due to hardware that seems to be changing every 3 years. So sorry if this question seems stupid.

Built my PC (with the thanks of you AfterDawn Peeps) and I was wondering, this board advertised a 2000 FSB but the program that came with it "AI Booster" shows I'm only getting only 803 FSB. Is there a setting I have to change? Or is it false advertising?

    Help would be appreciated.

    **sidenote**
asked this question in another forum but no one has answered. I get an error when I boot up windows that "NTLDR is missing" and I can't boot windows XP Pro unless I press F8 and boot manually from hard drive. Any fix for this?

    **second side note**
Sorry again but I also get an error when I try to install certain programs like MagicISO. It says "Cannot open AVI." which is weird. I heard this is a window Vista's theme problem?

    Again thanks.

the board does have a 2000MHz FSB (which is actually 1000MHz running on 2 channels) however this is the hyper transport FSB and not the actual frequency. also it is possible that your processor only has a 1600MHz FSB which means that it only runs at 800MHz

dont ask me why but everything with PCs these days is only half what they say i.e 400MHz DDR memory runs at 200MHz but on 2 channels

take a look in your bios, from there you should be able to set your processor running at the 1000MHz FSB it should be on
