Hi, my question is can anyone think of a reason why it now takes my computer 12-15 hours to backup a single movie when it used to take around 2? I don't have any viruses, i'm just doing the regular backup, and i haven't touched the priority setting. When the movie has been backed up and burned it works fine. I have also found that it now takes about an hour just to analyze the DVD when it used to take 5 minutes. Just looking for some suggestions. Thanks

Thanks for the insight guys. I should have mentioned that i run trend micro and norton virus scan programs and have the latest version of spybot. I haven't defraged in a few weeks so i'll try that but, i do think its a problem with the hardware itself. Thanks
