Brand spanking new here and would like to be pointed to the correct forum to avoid flaming. My question is how do I convert .ts files (not a video_ts directory) to format that I can burn to a watchable dvd? I dl'd some episodes of "Greys Anatomy" from a newsgroup server so now I have 44 100mb xxxx.ts files. I have googled till my brain hurts and have unsuccessfully played around with dvdsanta. I generally use and am somewhat familliar with nero6, clonedvd2, alcohol 120%, dvd shrink. Any advice and or point me to the right threads? Thanks a million! deims
To do this use a program called "HDTVtoMPEG2", Which can be found here http://www.midwinter.com/~bcooley/ . Then once it is mpeg2 you can load it up in your favorite dvd authoring program to convert the mpeg2 into a standard dvd format, then burn. I have never used this program, but other people have, so I really don't know much about it. HTH, Rich
Here's another one that might be handy, maybe even better. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=HDTV2DVD HTH, Rich
