Can you burn higher than 780by 480?

    I have several HD shows and would like to burn them to DVD's. Can i incresase the res on the output to watch it on my HD television better?

    Unfortunatlly not. The dvd player will not play them. You can get a high def capture card to view on your computer but thats it.
