Hi everyone - could do with some help/advice/guidance please.

Having downloaded several legitimate FLAC files ( Generously offered and made freely available by Phil Lesh) and decoded to WMA Files I then try to burn a CD using Nero 7.

I import the files, go to preferences, set the pause to o (zero) seconds, click apply, then burn the disc 'Disc at Once' and am still getting a 2 second split in between tracks. Am I missing something very obvious, doing something stupid?

Any help or guidance would be very welcome.

    Many thanks in advance

    Best Wishes
    David

the silence may be at the begining and end of your mp3's
play them see if there is a second or so silence
you can trim them with besweetgui

when i use nero 7 it has "no pause between tracks" check box button on right bottom corner. haven't used the setting under preferences.

if i try to burn some things it will tell me: "2-3 seconds needed at beginning of first track" or similar.

BTW - you can also download a free flac plug-in that will enable nero to burn flacs directly making decoding to .wav unnecessary:
