    Put the DVD in your drive. Open DVD Decrypter. Click EDIT->Select Main Movie

    For your second question;

    DVD Shrink does NOT burn by itself, as it does not have a burning engine. it creates an ISO file and It uses DVD Decrypter to burn.Or, if you have Nero, it can use nero for burning.

    dvd decrypter quality is a little better than dvd shrink and the pay programs are lots bettter than either (clonedvd 2 ,Intervideo DVDCopy 4)etc.

    But DVD Shrink does not burn...it opens up DVD Decrypter, or Nero. So it can't be a burning comparison between Shrink and any other software, right?

    you get or lose the picture quality in the encoding mode not burning the file to a dvd ,not unless your using memorex media of course then you would lose picture quality , so no the burning software doesnt make a difference its the encoding that makes the difference

    LOL!
    Then we can't compare DVD Decrypter with Shrink quality because DVD Decrypter does not encode, just ripps / decrypts, right? :~)

    Put the DVD in your drive. Then click on Mode.Select file. And edit will appear.

    I think if o mode is a little more advanced. In ifo mode you can choose to ripp by cell, skipp some parts of the movie,is more like editing. I never messed with it. Only ISO or File mode. What program do you use to encode/transcode?

    well i just decrypt and burn using decrypter...i dont know if decrypter encodes at all? is it better to burn at a speed of 4X because i heard faster speeds may cause more problems?

    After you ripp the files with DVD Decrypter, you have to use DVD Shrink. In the link provided above by aabbccdd, you will find a guide on how to use DVD Decrypter with DVD Shrink.
    Depending on the media you use and burner, but X4 is the safest-most recommended speed.

    if the file is under the target size for decrypter you will not need dvd shrink ,you can just burn the file with dvd decrypter or nero

    burning at 4x then will help with that BUT the best thing you can do is use better media Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim that will solve the problem

    That is good media. So, don't burn too fast, too close to the edge and don't multitask during the burning process.
