    Hello everybody. I want to beable to go on my computer and Xbox at the same time, but I do not have a router. :( I heard of Microsoft ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). Basically, if you do this, the connection goes like this:
    -> Internet
    -> Cable Modem
    -> Computer
    -> Xbox
    The problem is, when I do this, I cannot connect to the Xbox. Is it because I am using a Ethernet cord? Do I have to be using a cross-over cable or something? Thanks.

    yes to go from xbox to computer with no router you need a crossover cable....i have my computer set up the same way so it does work so just go out and buy the cable.....

    I have got my Xbox to connect, but when I bridge my two connections, neither my computer nor Xbox can connect to the internet. What is the problem?
