Tried DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, DVD X Copy Platimum & XPress -- no luck. I get an invalid DVD structure error message, or something like that.
    Any ideas? TDF's for XCopy?

Haven't tried either, but I'm too cheap to buy AnyDVD. I saw a couple others suggested on another thread too: DVDFab & VobBlanker.

Tried DVDFab then DVDShrink, and it looks like it worked. DVDShrink at least created the ISO. I haven't tried to burn & play yet. The output from VobBlanker couldn't be read by DVDShrink though.

    @dsutter

    LEGEND OF ZORRO issue?

I suspect that you're doing something wrong with VobBlanker. Out of curiosity, you didn't have AnyDVD, DVD43 or any kind of cracking engines running in the background while you're ripping the movie with DVDFAB Decrypter and or while you're "processing" the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker by chance, did you? I strongly suggest you TURN OFF AnyDVD or DVD43 in prior to proceed with DVDFAB Decrypter and VobBlanker's process.

**knowledge fact: if you have 2 hard drives; when using VobBlanker to "PROCESS" the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, set your INPUT folder to C: and OUTPUT folder to D: and click PROCESS, VobBlanker should take NO LONGER THAN 5 miutes. **NOTE: make sure when you ripped the movie with DVDFAB Decrypter, make your first movie folder and VIDEO_TS folder into C: drive though, so you can set the OUTPUT folder to D: or vice versa, it should work.

VobBlanker has never let me down, it has worked 100% flawlessly regardless if it's RipGuard or ARccOS. Once you've ripped the movie (VIDEO_TS) file via DVDFAB Decrypter into the hard drive (takes 12 - 15 minutes to rip, depends on your system and burner), just process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker and the rest is history. In some cases (5% of all dvds/movies), if a few/some of the VTS marked as SKIP, then you'll NEED to click on "PROC.ALL" on the right for the "Action" to process all of them VTS for VobBlanker to process without any issues. Just incase if you're interested. Good luck!!

I suspect your right -- I processed the IFO file, but I don't remember all those steps. Thanks for the thorough instructions. I still haven't burned the ISO for two reasons, which maybe someone can answer:
I had been using Memorex printable DVD-R's with my Sony DVD/VCR combo (Model # not at hand right now), and a Cyberhome Piece-of-s*** DVR1600 player/burner. In the Cyberhome thing, the Memorex disks skip, freeze, and are useless. Disks from the same batch that used to play in the Sony are now locking up and skipping in the Sony as well. Any suggestions on quality, yet cheap, printable DVD +/-R's? That don't have known issues with Sony players????

    Oh My. :(
You may hear a lot of comments about the "M" word you used.
Memorex is not exactly well liked around here. I am not saying that the discs are the entire problem, But I would suggest switching to a more reliable media.

I found out the hard way, but quickly, that cheap media is in no way a good idea. I am using Verbatim LightScribe Disc's and couldn't be happier. No more Skipping for me!

Try using a better media, and see if you get better results. You may be surprised.

    best of luck.

Thanks for the tip -- even the Memorex DVD/RW's aren't up to snuff. I burn to Sony DVD/RW's now, then transfer, but I was looking for a printable DVD+R. Verbatim was suggested as an option for my P-O-S DVR, but they said not to use the lightscribe. Verbatim looks like the way to go though. -- Thanks again.

I have been trying to copy Bambi 2 with dvd x copy gold, with anydvd in the back. I keep getting the message The exception breakpoint A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x7c901230. I get this error message in the last 3 seconds of it reading the movie, before I get to burn it. I had never seen this before, I just bought a new computer and installed my software on it.

I did both of these movies using CloneDVD and AnyDVD.
They both copied without a problem...........
I've not found a movie yet, that these two softwares can't handle.
    Good luck!

I did exactly what RichDee did, and no problems. VOB Blanker works very well, but it is not a necessity for this one.

"DVDFab, Shrink then burn with Nero"

    Best of luck,

I tried using DVDFabDecrypter and shrink and it worked perfect. I used DVDFab and then opened the files and RE:Authored it and used just the main movie cutting out all the other junk and it worked great.

Anyone have success with the movie Mulan (SE)? The DVDFab -> Shrink
-> burn didn't work, but I haven't tried to VobBlank the D'Fab'd files yet.
