I am in the whole fun process of moving so I am without internet at home (at work for this). I want to start backing up all my dvds because in the last move a lot got damaged somehow and I don't want this to happen again without backups. Is there anyway to download shrink and decrypter programs onto a jumpdrive and later onto both my desktop and notebook at home? Without the internet there right now it is impossible to download these. And no there is no chance of bringing in my computers to work to download

do you have internet right now, at home? if you do then you can burn it on CD! or DVD! and have it ready for installation at work and then you can do it at work. if you have an external drive you can put it on there and then use it at work! But you would have to have at least a 50gig external! just making sure you have enough room to use on the external drive to work with DVDs!

i think you got this backwards or something..

    to answer the question..

yes.. you can download the installers onto the flash drive.. take that home.. and install that onto the home computer.

you would only need that much if you are planning on storing them on the computer. but you can just burn these.

but again.. just download the installers for the programs.. take it home.. install the software on the machines at home.. rip the dvds and burn the dvds (at home).
