my friend has received a trojan virus, she has norton antivirus, which i told her isnt that great, but she wont listen and would like to keep it, she keeps on getting this message telling her that her computer is infected, the icon is where the clock is and it goes from an upgrade winodws to a red cross icon, so i was wondering is there any software or a program that she could download to get rid of it, and she doesnt want to format her computer, so i tried using ccleaner and adaware se proffesional on her computer which got rid of a few problems but not all of them. thanx

I would like to make an recommendation. Don't use ad-aware. There's alot it will catch, but alot it won't. I found this great program XoftSpy. Alot of these new trojans are a type of spyware, and Xoft most likely will find the source. I'm not saying just use Xoft, but I would deffinately recommend it over Ad-aware. i downloaded the XoftSpySE from that website you put up but after it scanned my computer they wanted a serial number and when i went to get a serial number they wanted me to buy the product, did u forget to mention that u have to pay for it or is there a free version of it, i even clicked on the download free XoftSpySE link, thanx
