no becuz you dont have your eeprom or hddkey so the only thing to do is buy a modchip. the solderless installation of modchips are pretty simple just search and read around the topic...

120 gig for $20?! Where did you find it at?! I'd like on for myself. And by the way, goto http://www.xbox-scene.com At the top, there are a list of modchips. I prefer a modchip pre-flashed with a BIOS. Than get Slayers Auto-Installer off of #xbins (tutorial for #xbins at http://www.xbox-scene.com After you get everything needed, follow the instrucstions below.
    1. First of all, follow the instructions that came with your modchip on how to install it.
2.Burn Slayers Auto Installer to a blank disk (DVD-R reommended).
    3. Insert the burnt disk into your Xbox DVD drive.
    4. Follow the instrucstions on the Xbox screen, and good luck!
    I hope I helped.

I got the DUOx2. It is the cheapest, and it comes pre-flashed with a BIOS. The only problem with that, it you have to solder it on. if you do not know how to do that, or you ae not good at it, I prefer a "non-solder" or "solderless" modchip.

Definatly the DUOx2..it works basically like the others..and if its your first (which i think it is) u should start with that one and go to a more advanced mod chip later
