NERO Stops Burning Part Way through

    I know, I know, this is a lame noob question, but I bought my inlaws a Sony DRX 800UL burner to copy their dvds and back up their photos and ran into the same problem I had a year ago with my own Sony. My fix took about 3 weeks of trial and error, so I thought I would just post my inlaw's log to see if someone can point out an obvious problem with the process.... here is the burn log:

    But after a quick look i saw that your firmware is outdated, you're burning too close to the edge and those TDK disks aren't the best, just average, also your burner isn't recognizing the media. DMA isnt found on that burner either...

    But all that is irrelevant if you don't sort the available memory... ;)

    you also have Roxio installed, it conflicts with Nero , uninstall that as well.

    As pointed out, you have NO free memory. To burn successfully you need at least 512meg RAM, suggest you add another 256meg to bring it up to the 512meg. Until you do this you have virtually NO chance of a successful burn

    You will also have to attend to the DMA problem otherwise the problem of failed burns will continue.
    Also uninstall Roxio.

    These are all potencial app clashes with Nero... You might wanna go a bit deeper on them, Roxio is only one of them(probably the worst)...
