I have a Liteon DVD burner, I used to use ICopyDVDs2 program until everyone i burned would either not play or have an error while burning. I tried all different brands of discs and nothing works. So i visited this wonderful site and followed a burners guide using DVD decryptor and DVD shrink, I burned a few DVD's with out any problems and the quality was great..One day i decided to back up Man on Fire..I got an error while burning and it hasn't worked right since..its been acting like it going fine, and acts like it burns the file perfectly. but then after the burn is complete it won't play on any of my DVD players and when I look at the data size on teh disk it's usually 3/4 of what it should be.. I tried many different brands of disks again and different burns as well as different movies...and I still can't get one to burn anymore. Is there something wrong with my burner or the programs I am using?

try using nero to burn.. if it craps out.. post the nero log to find what the issue is..
    few pointers tho:

    1. use good quality media.
    2. dont burn at max speed. burn at half speed of what media is rated.
    3. if your lite-on can booktype.. use dvd+rs.

cant think of anything else.. keep thread updated with info.

ps. what model of liteon is it?
