I am just starting to use anydvd and nero recode.
How do I pick whether to backup the widescreen or regular screen version of a dvd if it has both options?

I just started so I am also struggling with disabling "extra's" with recode but keeping titles?

    thx,

Pick whichever format you like. Use the preview button and look at the movie, the widescreen will have the wider bars at the top/bottom.

So it is just picking the TS option in nero or how do you do that? I still haven't figured out recode on how I can pick to do the "extra's" or just some of them or none of them? I know the option in 7 which is the version I have will let you do just the main movie and then an option to almost reauthor it, but it doesn't let you pick and choose the extras you keep unless I am missing something?

I think with Nero Recode you have the otion to backup the entire disk or just the main movie, pretty much the same as dvdshrink (they were written by the same guy i think)as for widescreen or tv format, you need to view the file in the view screen to see which one you chose
