DVD Writer SONY DRX-71OUL

HI all,
My writer suddenly started with "the disc is not empty". I use Ty's and I write 4x in dvd-r. I have another writer (Pioneer) and the discs are fine. What can be the problem and how do you fix it? Thanks in advance for the knowledge.

You may need a firmware update, I have searched and cannot find your burner, please confirm correct model no.

 

Current firmware for that model is BYX5 from Sony Support.

 

@Bilbo65, now how DID you find that, I searched Sony and only found the 810UL, Cheers

You guys ROCK!!!! FYI, it was all because I downloaded B's clip software which in turn corrupted my DVD writer. All is well.
