Can you put games on the Video iPod?

    Just curious since I just got a 30gb Video iPod. I had heard and briefly read about older iPod's running linux on them and thus having a pretty expansive ability to play games, like iDoom and etc... I googled it quickly and havent had much luck with the new video iPod, so I was just curious: Is it possible to do this with the Video iPod? If so, is it a difficult process? From what it sounded like, it could be a fun weekend project!

    oh man.... that def sucks... oh well - is there ANY hacks for the video ipod?

    You can search for iPod Wizard they have a few hacks, but they're fairly limited.

    [bold]iPod Wizard [/bold]allows you to change the themes on your iPod & writing styles etc, and I would say is safe to use..

    [bold]iPodlinux [/bold]on the other hand, is notorious in doing more harm than good to one's iPod - so I recommend steering clear of that..

    how we get started with the ipod wizard program? i just got it but i ono what to do haha

    Yes, it is an excellent program. I currently have a 'Super Mario' theme up on my iPod, and it looks fantastic :)

    Does ipodwizard void ur warranty? If it doesn't is there a way to remove it and turn ur ipod back into factory condition

    All iPodWizard does is change images and writing styles. It is safe so long as you follow the instructions & is completely reversible..
