Nero 6

    ok i have .avi files and nero wont recognize them to burn. what do i use to make the .avi files burnable with nero 6?

    Hi
    You have to convert it to dvd file ie vob in order to burn it to dvd.
    What ver of nero 6 are you using?
    Convert avi file by using neroexpress and then burn it from there.

    i am using 6.3.0.2

    i think i have it figured out thanks for the help

    alkohol's guide helped, my nero is a little different but i was able to figure it out from there.

    there are easier programs ro use to convert your avi to mpeg2 then just burn it with nero or the actually converting app can have its own burning app with in.

    If you feel up to it try this one, its free.There are better vesrsions of this app but they are trial versions which after the trial expires you can purchase it.

    ok i finally had time to do this. i put four videos on to the disc, or tried to. all of them show up in the menu, but only the first one is watchable.

    did you do each individually or batch encode them

    well i put them all on the disc it said it was nearly 4.2 gb but only burned 1 of the vids i had on there.
