Hi i just put a new motherboard in my computer and i tryed burning a cd with my microadvantage drive it is about a 2 years old and it keeps saying insert a medium ive used three burning software roxio nero 5.5 and 6 ive tryed flashing it 3 times it still saying that tryed imation ridata cd-r if you any suggestions shoot but what i wanted to know is how can I add a 3rd Ide to my computer i want to add a 44x burner to it with ide adn i dont want to buy any converters from usb to ide
Extra IDE cards aren't expensive, but of course you'll need a long IDE cable if you have a big case, because optical drives and PCI slots are about as far as way as any component related to another in a PC.
