Hi i bought dvdx platinum about a year ago and just latley did a disk clean. then it stoped woking.I got ahold of the company and they alowed me to re install the software and it installed complete but still does the same thing. It seems to read the dvd but when it promps me to insert disk I put one in and I push start like i always hwve and then a little window pops up saying (burn incompete check log) Can anyone help I really would appreciate it thanks jason Farenk
I don't know why this is happening but try to have xplatinum encode the dvd then go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Local Settings\Temp\dvdxplatinum\ and change the xplatinum folder name while the program is still running. This will let you use another burning program to do the job. You will have to set your folder settings to view hidden folders.
