I have a phone running WM5, and a 2gb sd card that's sitting there doing practically nothing. Does anyone know of a program or codec pack or something that will allow me to play these files?

I was just about to come in and bump . Anyway I've been looking since my original post and cannot find anything. I use TCPMP for a media player, as well as the built in Windows Media Player, but of course without the proper add-in stuff it doesn't recognize the files. Will someone think of the children and make a program that plays ratDVD on Windows Mobile 5 ?!?

[bold]How about porting to PDAs and mobile phones?[/bold]

That would be great. However, without a total rewrite this seems to be possible only for the latest MS smart phones and Pocket PCs (because of architecture and performance). Didn't get a chance to look into it enough in the moment.

Since Windows Mobile 5.0 is the latest smartphone/ppc os, I guess the answer is yes and no. It appears possible, but no one has tried it. I wish I had the programming skillz, hopefully someone will come along and will provide support.
